API Terms of Service & Acceptable Use

    Last updated: August 6, 2026

TempMailer and its Developer API are operated by BoostMyCoin Media LLC, its parent company. Payments are securely processed by Stripe and may appear on your bank or card statement as “BoostMyCoin Media LLC”.

    1. Acceptance

These terms govern your use of the TempMailer Developer API (the "API"), whether accessed directly with an API key or through a marketplace such as RapidAPI. By requesting a key or making a request, you agree to these terms and to our general Terms and Privacy Policy.

    2. Permitted use

The API is intended for legitimate software use cases: automated testing, QA of email flows, temporary sign-ups, bot development that respects target sites' terms, and similar. You are responsible for your end users and for complying with all applicable laws.

    3. Prohibited use (abuse policy)

You must not use the API to:

    • Send, facilitate, or receive spam, phishing, malware, or other unsolicited or malicious mail.
    • Create accounts or verifications in violation of a third party's terms of service.
    • Harass, defraud, or impersonate any person or organization.
    • Circumvent rate limits or quotas, share or resell keys, or operate as an unauthorized proxy/reseller of the API.
    • Process, store, or transmit unlawful content, or content you are not authorized to handle.
    • Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.

We may suspend or terminate access immediately for suspected abuse, and we cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.

    4. Rate limits & quotas

Each plan includes a monthly request allowance and a per-second rate limit. Exceeding them returns a429 error (or is metered as overage on plans that offer it). We may apply additional per-IP ceilings to protect the service. Limits may change with notice.

    5. API keys & security

Keys are secrets — keep them confidential, never embed them in client-side code, and rotate them if exposed. You are responsible for all activity under your keys. A key is shown only once at creation; you can create and revoke keys at any time from your dashboard.

    6. Data & retention

Messages received into API inboxes are temporary and auto-delete on a schedule that depends on your plan. Do not use the API to store data you need to keep. You may delete inboxes and messages at any time via the API. We process data as described in our Privacy Policy; on request we will delete data associated with your account where required by law.

    7. Billing

Direct subscriptions are billed via Stripe and renew until cancelled; manage or cancel yours from the dashboard. Marketplace subscriptions (e.g. RapidAPI) are billed and governed by that marketplace. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

    8. Availability & changes

The API is provided "as is" without warranty. We may modify, deprecate, or discontinue endpoints; material changes will be announced where practical. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the API.

    9. Contact

Questions about these terms or to report abuse: contact us (choose the “API” topic).
