Will the free tier stay free?+
Yes - permanently. The free disposable inbox is the brand promise we built TempMailer on. Free gives you up to 10 disposable inboxes; Plus and Pro add power-user features for people who need them without taking anything away from Free.
What's the difference between Free, Plus, and Pro?+
Free is up to 10 disposable inboxes on 3 domains - addresses and messages are short-lived (about an hour / 10 minutes) and it's ad-supported. Plus ($2.99/mo or $24.99/yr) removes ads and gives you 10 reserved inboxes on 5 domains, custom usernames, auto-detected OTP codes & links, and keeps everything for as long as you're subscribed. Pro ($5.99/mo or $49.99/yr) gives you 100 inboxes on all 7 domains (including premium) and search across every inbox - also kept while subscribed.
Is annual cheaper than monthly?+
Yes. Annual billing works out cheaper than paying month to month, and it's the default option on this page. Plus also has a limited-time launch offer of $19.99 for your first year.
Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?+
Yes - from the Billing page in your dashboard. Upgrades apply immediately. If you downgrade, we'll clearly warn you first: any inboxes over the new plan's limit (and their emails) are removed, keeping your most recently used ones.
What happens to my inboxes if I let a paid plan lapse?+
You drop to the Free tier. Your data enters a short grace window; if you don't re-subscribe, inboxes and mail beyond the Free limits are removed and short retention resumes.
How many inboxes can I have?+
1 without an account, 5 on Free, 10 on Plus, and 100 on Pro. When you reach the limit, delete an existing inbox to create a new one, or upgrade for more.
Do you sell or share my email data?+
No. We don't read your emails for advertising, we don't sell access to your inbox, and we don't have data-sharing partnerships. Paid plans are funded by subscription fees, not data monetization.
What are aliases, account recovery, and custom domains?+
They're Pro features we're actively building and will roll out soon - they're marked 'Coming soon' on the Pro plan. Everything else on Pro is available today.
